now showing ... in our local newspaper .....

The Captain & I were recently discussing the fact that "his" picture had never made it to the newspaper. I just figured it was because it might encourage (stupid) people to get closer to the

local critters- which is against the law!! I blogged about this incident whe it first happened, but seeing the picture reminded us both how unique & special the moment was. The Capt was giving a kayak tour ... and the young sea lion had tried repeatedly to get onto the pier .... being barked off by the big guys. (he just wanted to warm up a little). I guess he saw this as an opportunity! NOW, there will people noting my hubby for more than just his TV commercial :o)
