editor's review of "The Honeymoon Cafe"
First stop today was "The Honeymoon Cafe", and it won't be our last visit. BUT, we won't wait for a special occassion to return. We entered the eclectic, cozy space and were immediately embraced by so many yummy smells, they couldn't be separated (and why bother) Regular coffee from a local roasting company is 'serve yourself', perched atop a cabinet full of oversized, colorful, & mugs. The grill is located in an outdoor seating area that feels both friendly & natural. Indoors, the walls are busy with one-of-a-kind art & "stuff". There is so much to visually take in, that the wait is welcome. Ample sized servings looked as good as they smelled & tasted -and we walked away feeling an elegant sufficiency. The frosting on the cake was noting that it appeared to have a healthy local following ..... which we hope to now be part of. I can't wait to experience the lunch menu!!
