a funny thing happened on my way to the suitcase

(and I am not referring to the fact that I found little kitty sitting in it.)

We go to Hawaii pretty much every year. We've had lots of practice. We pack too many clothes nearly every year, even though each trip we have taken less than the year before. We take our own placemats. Ours are tropical & simple. Not tourist looking or overly bright in colors. We take out own shot glass. We have bought MANY of them over the years to leave at our timeshare and each time ... someone takes it as a souvenier (or?) We take a few coffee filters. They almost never have any, & yet, there is a kona coffee sample provided. We take our own supply of baggies. Cuz why buy 30 of 2 different sizes when we probably only need 10. We take our own swizzle sticks, cuz we like pineapple in our home make mai tais. We put our own thermos containers (empty) in our luggage so we don't have to constantly buy plastic ones.
enough said .... plane is boarding :o)
